In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Battlefield Bobcats baseball team scored a tight 7-4 victory over the Charles J. Colgan Sharks.

The Bobcats (9-1) will now prepare for their game against Patriot (Nokesville, VA). The Pioneers go into the Cedar Run game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Patriot tipped Greenbrier Christian Academy (Chesapeake, VA), 12-5, in a non-league game.
