California High School Baseball - San Joaquin Memorial gets by Central

Spectators at Wednesday's non-league battle between the San Joaquin Memorial Panthers (Fresno, CA) and the visiting Central Grizzlies (Fresno, CA), saw San Joaquin Memorial's baseball squad knock off Central by a count of 4-2.

Coming up next, the Panthers play the Sanger Apaches (Sanger, CA) in a County/Metro battle, on Wednesday, April 20. San Joaquin Memorial will attempt to move on its 15-5 season record. The Apaches enter the battle with a 9-9 record after their 12-4 non-league loss to Independence (Bakersfield, CA).

The Grizzlies now possess a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clovis West for a Tri-River battle on Tuesday, April 19. Central will play a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to St. Mary's (Stockton, CA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 12-5.
