With the win, Lakewood upgrades its record to 4-9 on the season. The Leopards travel to Neuse Charter (Smithfield, NC) to battle the Cougars in a Carolina 1A challenge on Tuesday, April 26. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 5-7. Neuse Charter won 13-3 in their recent league challenge against Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC)

Next, the Wildcats face the North Moore Mustangs (Robbins, NC) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, April 16. Hobbton will attempt to advance on its 5-10 season record. The Mustangs enter the outing with a 10-1 record after their 5-1 league win over Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC).
