The Langston Hughes Panthers baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Morrow Mustangs to 4 in the Panthers league victory on Wednesday.
The Panthers (10-11) will now prepare for their match against Lovejoy (Lovejoy, GA). The Wildcats go into the AAAAAA Region 4 match with a 6-17 record. In their last match, Lovejoy was overwhelmed by North Atlanta (Atlanta, GA), 18-0, in a league match.
The Mustangs (3-16) will now prepare for their match against Tucker (Tucker, GA). The Tigers go into the AAAAAA Region 4 match with a 16-6 record. In their last match, Tucker was overwhelmed by Westlake (Atlanta, GA), 10-5, in a league match.
