The Yough Cougars crushed the visiting McGuffey Highlanders baseball team by a count of 11-1 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Cougars now possess a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Charleroi for a WPIAL 3A 4 bout on Tuesday, April 19. Yough will face a Cougars team coming off a 10-1 league loss to Waynesburg Central (Waynesburg, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 5-1.
Next, the Highlanders face the Bethlehem Center Bulldogs (Fredericktown, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 15. McGuffey will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 2-3 record after their 5-4 league win over Frazier (Perryopolis, PA).
