In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Hawthorne Cougars (Hawthorne, CA) volleyball squad were winner over the host Culver City Centaurs (Culver City, CA), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Cougars battle the Beverly Hills Normans (Beverly Hills, CA) in a Ocean contest, on Monday, April 18. Hawthorne will attempt to better on its 14-1 season record.

With the loss, Culver City moves to 2-13 on the year. The Centaurs host Peninsula (Rolling Hills Estates, CA) to battle the Panthers in a Bay contest on Friday, April 15.
