The Avon Lake Shoremen crushed the visiting Midview Middies baseball team by a count of 6-0 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Shoremen now possess a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Chardon for a non-league bout on Friday, April 15. Avon Lake will face a Hilltoppers team coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Twinsburg (Twinsburg, OH). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 1-0.

Next, the Middies face the Keystone Wildcats (La Grange, OH) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, April 13. Midview will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
