Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Emmaus Hornets (Emmaus, PA) and the visiting Parkland Trojans (Allentown, PA), witnessed Emmaus's softball squad tip Parkland by a count of 7-3.

The Hornets now sport a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Pocono Mountain East for a non-league match on Thursday, April 14. Emmaus will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 26-1 non-league win over Pocono Mountain West (Pocono Summit, PA). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Parkland moves to 0-2 on the season. The Trojans host Freedom (Bethlehem, PA) to meet the Patriots in a non-league match on Thursday, April 14. The Patriots go into the match with a record of 1-2. Freedom won 13-3 in their recent non-league match against Easton Area (Easton, PA)
