The Bellaire Big Reds (Bellaire, OH) softball nipped the visiting St. Clairsville Red Devils (St. Clairsville, OH), 13-12 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Big Reds (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against Linsly (Wheeling, WV). The Cadets go into the non-league bout with a 2-3 record. In their last bout, Linsly was edged by Martins Ferry (Martins Ferry, OH), 5-0, in a non-league bout.
The Red Devils now possess a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to Brooke for a Two Rivers bout on Saturday, April 16. St. Clairsville will confront a Bruins squad coming off a 13-4 non-league win over Magnolia (New Martinsville, WV). The Bruins record now stands at 4-5.
