The South Lenoir Blue Devils softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons to 0 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, South Lenoir improves its record to 13-1 on the year. The Blue Devils host Princeton (Princeton, NC) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 19. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 13-1. Princeton won 9-3 in their recent non-league game against East Wake Academy (Zebulon, NC)

In their next game, the Golden Falcons clash with the Southern Wayne Saints (Dudley, NC) in a Quad County 3A game, on Thursday, April 14. C.B. Aycock will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Saints come into the game with a 7-7 record after their 16-1 non-league win over Eastern Wayne (Goldsboro, NC).
