The crowd at Wednesday's league match between the Central Knights (Providence, RI) and the host Classical Purples (Providence, RI), saw Central's softball squad nip Classical by a count of 18-12.

The Knights now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Mt. Pleasant for a Division 3 match on Friday, April 15. Central will face a Kilties squad coming off a 14-3 league loss to Juanita Sanchez Complex (Providence, RI). The Kilties record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Classical falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Purples travel to Hope (Providence, RI) to face the Blue Wave in a Division 3 match on Thursday, April 14. The Blue Wave enter the match with a record of 0-1. Hope lost 17-13 in their recent league match against Mt. Pleasant (Providence, RI)
