The Dunmore Bucks got by the host Riverside Vikings softball squad by a count of 3-2 in Wednesday's league battle.

The Bucks (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Wyoming Area (Exeter, PA). The Warriors go into the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Wyoming Area was edged by Elk Lake (Dimock, PA), 7-5, in a non-league battle.

The Vikings now sport a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Carbondale Area for a Lackawanna 3 battle on Saturday, April 16. Riverside will meet a Chargers squad coming off a 10-3 league loss to Old Forge (Old Forge, PA). The Chargers record now stands at 0-2.
