Marlborough Panthers (Marlborough, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Fitchburg Red Raiders (Fitchburg, MA), 22-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Panthers now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host South for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 14.
With the loss, Fitchburg falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Red raiders travel to Montachusett RVT (Fitchburg, MA) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 15. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
