The Grafton Bearcats softball team scored 22 runs and limited the host Preston Knights to 9 in the Bearcats league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Grafton moves its record to 7-9 on the year. The Bearcats host Lincoln (Shinnston, WV) to clash with the Cougars in a Big Ten game on Thursday, April 14. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 12-0. Lincoln won 8-1 in their recent league game against Lewis County (Weston, WV)
In their next game, the Knights clash with the Robert C. Byrd Eagles (Clarksburg, WV) in a Big Ten game, on Thursday, April 14. Preston will attempt to move on its 0-7 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 8-4 record after their 10-2 league win over East Fairmont (Fairmont, WV).
