The Hot Springs Tigers softball team (Truth or Consequences, NM), was routed 24-4 in Wednesday's league test with the visiting Hatch Valley Bears (Hatch, NM)
Coming up next, the Bears encounter the Socorro Warriors (Socorro, NM) in a 3A District 3 test, on Tuesday, April 19. Hatch Valley will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Warriors enter the test with a 0-8 record after their 18-0 league loss to Cobre (Bayard, NM).
The Tigers (1-16) will now prepare for their bout against Cobre (Bayard, NM). The Indians go into the 3A District 3 bout with a 13-7 record. In their last bout, Cobre toppled Socorro (Socorro, NM), 18-0, in a league bout.
