Laurel Highlands Mustangs (Uniontown, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Uniontown Red Raiders (Uniontown, PA), 8-4 in a league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Elizabeth Forward for a WPIAL 4A 2 challenge on Monday, April 18. Laurel Highlands will face a Warriors squad coming off a 20-1 league win over Ringgold (Monongahela, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 6-1.

With the loss, Uniontown falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Red raiders host Elizabeth Forward (Elizabeth, PA) to face the Warriors in a WPIAL 4A 2 challenge on Tuesday, April 19. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 6-1.
