The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the Tyngsborough Tigers (Tyngsborough, MA) and the host Lunenburg Blue Knights (Lunenburg, MA), saw Tyngsborough's softball squad nip Lunenburg by a count of 8-3.
The Tigers now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Quabbin Regional for a non-league match on Friday, April 15.
With the loss, Lunenburg falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Blue knights travel to Oakmont Regional (Ashburnham, MA) to face the Spartans in a Midland-Wachusett C match on Wednesday, April 20. The Spartans enter the match with a record of 0-0.
