The Moriarty Pintos softball team scored 25 runs and limited the visiting Taos Tigers to 23 in the Pintos league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Moriarty improves its record to 5-11 on the year. The Pintos host Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM) to clash with the Elks/Elkettes in a 4A District 2 game on Saturday, April 16. The Elks/Elkettes come into the game with a record of 7-12. Pojoaque Valley lost 7-5 in their recent league game against Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM)

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Raton Tigers (Raton, NM) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 15. Taos will attempt to improve on its 3-12 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 3-10 record after their 16-0 league loss to Robertson (Las Vegas, NM).
