In Thursday's non-league match, the host Aiken Fighting Green Hornets baseball team scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Andrew Jackson Volunteers.
The Fighting Green Hornets (9-7) will now prepare for their match against Barnwell (Barnwell, SC). The Warhorses go into the non-league match with a 10-6 record.
The Volunteers (17-2) will now prepare for their match against Chesterfield (Chesterfield, SC). The Golden Rams go into the 2A Region 5 match with a 5-9 record. In their last match, Chesterfield was edged by Cheraw (Cheraw, SC), 5-1, in a league match.
