In Thursday's non-league game, the host Jackson Heights Cobras baseball team scored a nice 11-1 victory over the Blue Valley Rams.
The Cobras (1-7) will now prepare for their game against Jefferson County North (Winchester, KS). The Chargers go into the non-league game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, Jefferson County North overcame McLouth (McLouth, KS), 6-3, in a non-league game.
The Rams (1-5) will now prepare for their game against St. Mary's Academy (St. Marys, KS). The Crusaders go into the non-league game with a 5-0 record. In their last game, St. Mary's Academy overcame Heritage Christian (Topeka, KS), 11-1, in a non-league game.
