The North Johnston Panthers baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Bunn Wildcats to 9 in the Panthers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Panthers (9-6) will now prepare for their match against Princeton (Princeton, NC). The Bulldogs go into the Neuse Six 2A match with a 7-7 record. In their last match, Princeton was edged by Ayden - Grifton (Ayden, NC), 7-3, in a non-league match.
The Wildcats (7-9) will now prepare for their match against Southern Nash (Bailey, NC). The Firebirds go into the The Big East 2A/3A match with a 9-5 record. In their last match, Southern Nash edged North Johnston (Kenly, NC), 6-2, in a non-league match.
