The Coahoma County Red Panthers crushed the visiting Leland Cubs baseball team by a count of 15-3 in Thursday's league bout.
The Red Panthers now possess a 4-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Side for a 1A Region 3 bout on Monday, April 17. Coahoma County will face a Gators team coming off a 10-7 league loss to Strayhorn (Sarah, MS). The Gators record now stands at 1-3.
Next, the Cubs face the Riverside Bulldogs (Avon, MS) in a 2A Region 6 bout, on Monday, April 17. Leland will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 22-2 record after their 6-3 non-league loss to Clarksdale (Clarksdale, MS).
