South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC), 19-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, South Point upgrades its record to 10-6 on the season. The Red Raiders host Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC) to battle the Mountaineers in a Big South 3A test on Tuesday, April 18. The Mountaineers come into the test with a record of 14-2. Kings Mountain won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Burns (Lawndale, NC)

With the defeat, Forestview falls to 5-12 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Huss (Gastonia, NC) to battle the Huskies in a Big South 3A test on Tuesday, April 18. The Huskies come into the test with a record of 0-10. Huss lost 14-4 in their recent league test against Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC)
