The Mount View Golden Knights baseball team (Welch, WV), was tipped 8-7 in Thursday's league outing with the host Mingo Central Miners (Matewan, WV)

The Miners now hold a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincoln County for a non-league outing on Saturday, April 22.

Next, the Golden Knights confront the WestSide Renegades (Clear Fork, WV) in a Coalfield AA outing, on Monday, April 17. Mount View will attempt to advance on its 5-6 season record. The Renegades go into the outing with a 5-7 record after their 17-1 non-league win over Van (Van, WV).
