The Newton South Lions baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Saint Joseph Prep Phoenix to 0 in the Lions non-league victory on Thursday.
The Lions (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Newton North (Newtonville, MA). The Tigers go into the non-league match with a 2-3 record.
The Phoenix (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Matignon (Cambridge, MA). The Warriors go into the Catholic Central - Large match with a 1-3 record.
