In Thursday's non-league challenge, the Out-of-Door Academy Thunder (Sarasota, FL) baseball squad the visiting Venice Indians (Venice, FL), by a final score of 4-2.
With the win, Out-of-Door Academy upgrades its record to 14-6 on the season. The Thunder travel to Port Charlotte (Port Charlotte, FL) to battle the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 17. The Pirates enter the battle with a record of 8-9.
The Indians now possess a 10-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sarasota for a 7A District 8 battle on Friday, April 14. Venice will play a Sailors squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Palmetto (Palmetto, FL). The Sailors record now stands at 15-4.
