North Carolina High School Baseball - South Stokes gets by Starmount

Spectators at Thursday's league battle between the South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC) and the host Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC), saw South Stokes's baseball squad knock off Starmount by a count of 6-4.

Coming up next, the Sauras play the North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC) in a Northwest 1A battle, on Tuesday, April 18. South Stokes will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record. The Vikings enter the battle with a 16-3 record after their 8-1 league win over East Wilkes (Ronda, NC).

The Rams now possess a 6-9 record. They take the field next when they host Alleghany for a Northwest 1A battle on Tuesday, April 18. Starmount will play a Trojans squad coming off a 6-5 league loss to Elkin (Elkin, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 1-16.
