The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Granite Hills Eagles (El Cajon, CA) and the host Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA), saw Granite Hills's volleyball squad nip Steele Canyon by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Granite Hills upgrades its record to 12-10 on the year. The Eagles host Santana (Santee, CA) to play the Sultans in a bout on Tuesday, April 18. The Sultans go into the bout with a record of 2-6.

The Cougars now own a 9-11 record. They play next when they host West Hills for a bout on Tuesday, April 18.
