California High School Volleyball - Rancho San Juan over Gilroy

April 13, 2023: Gilroy, CA 95020

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Rancho San Juan Trailblazers (Salinas, CA) and the host Gilroy Mustangs (Gilroy, CA), saw Rancho San Juan's volleyball squad beat Gilroy by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Rancho San Juan upgrades its record to 15-4 on the year. The Trailblazers host North Salinas (Salinas, CA) to play the Vikings in a PCAL - Mission bout on Friday, April 14. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 11-5. North Salinas won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Marina (Marina, CA)

The Mustangs now own a 2-16 record. They play next when they travel to Westmont for a BVAL - Santa Teresa bout on Monday, April 17. Gilroy will play a Warriors squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Piedmont Hills (San Jose, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 7-5.
