The Porter-Gaud Cyclones soccer team scored 4 points and limited the visiting First Baptist School Hurricanes to 1 in the Cyclones league victory on Thursday.
Next, the Cyclones face the Ashley Ridge Swamp Foxes (Summerville, SC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, April 18. Porter-Gaud will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record. The Swamp Foxes enter the contest with a 8-5 record after their 2-1 league loss to West Ashley (Charleston, SC).
The Hurricanes now have a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pinewood Prep for a SCISA AAA Region II contest on Tuesday, April 18. First Baptist School will face a Panthers team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Norman North (Norman, OK). The Panthers record now stands at 13-2.
