With the win, Powell upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to Christ School (Arden, NC) to battle the Greenies in a non-league test on Thursday, April 20. The Greenies come into the test with a record of 4-3. Christ School won 12-2 in their recent league test against Asheville Christian Academy (Swannanoa, NC)

With the defeat, Anderson County falls to 8-5 on the season. The Mavericks host Northview Academy (Kodak, TN) to battle the Cougars in a non-league test on Friday, April 14. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 0-0.
