The Kearney Bearcats baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Maxwell Wildcats to 5 in the Bearcats non-league victory on Thursday.
The Bearcats (6-13) will now prepare for their match against Fremont (Fremont, NE). The Tigers go into the non-league match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Fremont edged Lincoln High (Lincoln, NE), 10-1, in a non-league match.
The Wildcats (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Central City/Fullerton/Centura (Central City, NE). The Kernels go into the non-league match with a 2-3 record.
