In Thursday's non-league game, the host Lake Norman Wildcats baseball team scored a tight 10-7 victory over the South Iredell Vikings.
The Wildcats (7-5) will now prepare for their game against North Iredell (Olin, NC). The Raiders go into the non-league game with a 4-4 record. In their last game, North Iredell Forbush (East Bend, NC), 2-2, in a non-league game.
The Vikings (9-8) will now prepare for their game against Bandys (Catawba, NC). The Trojans go into the non-league game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Bandys tipped East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC), 11-1, in a non-league game.
