East Rockingham Eagles (Elkton, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Clarke County Eagles (Berryville, VA), 18-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 9-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Page County for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 18.

With the loss, Clarke County falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Eagles host Sherando (Stephens City, VA) to battle the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 14. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 5-4. Sherando lost 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Skyline (Front Royal, VA)
