The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Newberry Bulldogs (Newberry, SC) and the visiting Mid-Carolina Rebels (Prosperity, SC), saw Newberry's soccer squad get by Mid-Carolina by a margin of 1-0.
The Bulldogs now sport a 9-4 record. They play next when they host Abbeville for a AA Region 2 test on Tuesday, April 18. Newberry will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 4-2 league win over Ninety Six (Ninety Six, SC). The Panthers record now stands at 6-6.
With the loss, Mid-Carolina drops to 7-8 on the season. The Rebels travel to Saluda (Saluda, SC) to meet the Tigers in a AA Region 2 test on Tuesday, April 18. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 5-9.
