Ashland Oredockers (Ashland, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Cameron Comets (Cameron, WI), 15-11 in a non-league challenge.

The Oredockers now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host South Shore for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 14.

With the loss, Cameron falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Comets host Unity (Balsam Lake, WI) to battle the Eagles in a Lakeland - North challenge on Monday, April 17. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 2-1.
