Bangor Cardinals (Bangor, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host New Lisbon Rockets (New Lisbon, WI), 16-4 in a league challenge.

The Cardinals now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wonewoc-Center for a Scenic Bluffs challenge on Monday, April 17. Bangor will battle a Wolves squad coming off a 14-11 league win over Hillsboro (Hillsboro, WI). The Wolves record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, New Lisbon falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Rockets host Cashton (Cashton, WI) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 17. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 9-0. Cashton won 19-0 in their recent non-league challenge against De Soto (De Soto, WI)
