Ohio High School Softball - Buckeye Local can't get by Barnesville

In Thursday's league contest, the Barnesville Shamrocks (Barnesville, OH) softball team held off the visiting Buckeye Local Panthers (Rayland, OH), by a margin of 4-3.

With the triumph, Barnesville moves its record to 6-4 on the year. The Shamrocks travel to River (Hannibal, OH) to play the Pilots in a Ohio Valley Athletic AAA contest on Friday, April 14. The Pilots come into the contest with a record of 2-4. River lost 8-7 in their recent league contest against Monroe Central (Woodsfield, OH)

In their next game, the Panthers play the Shenandoah Zeps (Sarahsville, OH) in a Ohio Valley Athletic AAA contest, on Saturday, April 15. Buckeye Local will attempt to move on its 0-11 season record. The Zeps come into the contest with a 6-3 record after their 4-0 league win over Fort Frye (Beverly, OH).
