California High School Softball - Burroughs knocked off by Serrano

In Thursday's league contest, the Serrano Diamondbacks (Phelan, CA) softball team overwhelmed the host Burroughs Burros (Ridgecrest, CA), by a margin of 24-2.

With the triumph, Serrano moves its record to 6-11 on the year. The Diamondbacks travel to Hesperia (Hesperia, CA) to play the Scorpions in a Mojave River contest on Tuesday, April 18. The Scorpions come into the contest with a record of 4-15. Hesperia lost 19-0 in their recent league contest against Oak Hills (Hesperia, CA)

In their next game, the Burros play the Sultana Sultans (Hesperia, CA) in a Mojave River contest, on Tuesday, April 18. Burroughs will attempt to move on its 4-13 season record. The Sultans come into the contest with a 10-12 record after their 12-1 league win over Apple Valley (Apple Valley, CA).
