The Santa Rosa Lions routed the visiting Clayton Yellowjackets softball squad by a count of 13-3 in Thursday's league battle.

The Lions (12-4) will now prepare for their battle against Clayton (Clayton, NM). The Yellowjackets go into the A/2A District 6 battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Clayton was routed by Tucumcari (Tucumcari, NM), 10-2, in a non-league battle.
