The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Quilcene Rangers (Quilcene, WA) and the host Darrington Loggers (Darrington, WA), saw Quilcene's softball squad nip Darrington by a count of 12-7.

The Rangers now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Muckleshoot Tribal for a 1B/2B Sea-Tac match on Wednesday, April 19.

With the loss, Darrington falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Loggers host Orcas Island (Eastsound, WA) to face the Vikings in a 1B/2B Northwest match on Saturday, April 15. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 3-9. Orcas Island won 26-13 in their recent league match against Concrete (Concrete, WA)
