Spectators at Thursday's league match between the South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC) and the host East Wilkes Cardinals (Ronda, NC), witnessed South Stokes's softball squad prevail over East Wilkes by a count of 10-0.

The Sauras now sport a 13-1 record. They play next when they travel to South Caldwell for a non-league match on Saturday, April 15. South Stokes will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 18-1 league win over Watauga (Boone, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 10-2.

With the loss, East Wilkes moves to 13-3 on the season. The Cardinals host Hough (Cornelius, NC) to meet the Huskies in a non-league match on Saturday, April 15. The Huskies go into the match with a record of 9-2. Hough won 15-0 in their recent league match against Chambers (Charlotte, NC)
