With the triumph, Elliott County moves its record to 5-11 on the year. The Lions host East Carter (Grayson, KY) to play the Raiders in a District 62 contest on Monday, April 17. The Raiders come into the contest with a record of 13-6. East Carter lost 15-6 in their recent non-league contest against Pikeville (Pikeville, KY)

In their next game, the Cougars play the Magoffin County Hornets (Salyersville, KY) in a non-league contest, on Friday, April 14. Morgan County will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Hornets come into the contest with a 7-4 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to Belfry (Belfry, KY).
