The Gallup Bengals softball team scored 17 runs and limited the host Kirtland Central Broncos to 0 in the Bengals league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Gallup moves its record to 10-9 on the year. The Bengals host Shiprock (Shiprock, NM) to clash with the Chieftains in a 4A District 1 game on Saturday, April 15. The Chieftains come into the game with a record of 4-9. Shiprock lost 16-1 in their recent league game against Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM)
In their next game, the Broncos clash with the Aztec Tigers (Aztec, NM) in a 4A District 1 game, on Saturday, April 15. Kirtland Central will attempt to move on its 4-12 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 7-10 record after their 11-1 league loss to Miyamura (Gallup, NM).
