The crowd at Thursday's league match between the Poland Knights (Poland, ME) and the host Gray-New Gloucester Patriots (Gray, ME), saw Poland's softball squad achieve victory over Gray-New Gloucester by a count of 15-5.
The Knights now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Greely for a Class B South match on Monday, April 24.
