In Thursday's league outing, the host J.L. Mann Patriots softball team scored a nice 18-0 win over the Mauldin Mavericks.
Coming up next, the Patriots encounter the T.L. Hanna Yellow Jackets (Anderson, SC) in a AAAAA Region 1 outing, on Tuesday, April 18. J.L. Mann will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record.
The Mavericks (0-5) will now prepare for their outing against Eastside (Taylors, SC). The Eagles enter the non-league outing with a 0-7 record. In their last outing, Eastside was routed by Wade Hampton (Greenville, SC), 17-1, in a league outing.
