In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Mechanicsburg Indians softball team scored a close 9-3 win over the Newark Catholic Green Wave.

Coming up next, the Indians battle the Cedarville Indians (Cedarville, OH) in a non-league outing, on Friday, April 14. Mechanicsburg will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record. The Indians enter the outing with a 5-7 record after their 19-3 non-league loss to Oakwood (Dayton, OH).

The Green Wave (6-3) will now prepare for their outing against Utica (Utica, OH). The Redskins enter the Licking County outing with a 1-6 record.
