Alabama High School Softball - Monroe Academy bounces Sparta Academy

Monroe Academy Volunteers (Monroeville, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Sparta Academy Warriors (Evergreen, AL), 16-10 in a non-league challenge.
The Volunteers now own a 5-1 record.
With the loss, Sparta Academy falls to 8-16 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Lowndes Academy (Lowndesboro, AL) to face the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Sunday, April 16. The Rebels enter the challenge with a record of 5-2. Lowndes Academy won 8-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Southern Academy (Greensboro, AL)
