Naselle Comets (Naselle, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Wishkah Valley Loggers (Aberdeen, WA), 16-1 in a league challenge.

The Comets now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Ocosta for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 14. Naselle will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 19-0 league win over North Beach (Ocean Shores, WA). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-2.

With the loss, Wishkah Valley falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Loggers travel to Oakville (Oakville, WA) to battle the Acorns in a 1B Coastal challenge on Monday, April 17. The Acorns enter the challenge with a record of 0-2. Oakville lost 18-0 in their recent league challenge against Mossyrock (Mossyrock, WA)
