Alabama High School Softball - Russell County bounces Park Crossing

The Russell County Warriors (Seale, AL) softball routed the host Park Crossing Thunderbirds (Montgomery, AL), 22-14 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Warriors (2-8) will now prepare for their bout against Opelika (Opelika, AL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 9-14 record. In their last bout, Opelika was routed by Smiths Station (Smiths, AL), 10-3, in a league bout.
The Thunderbirds now possess a 6-13 record. They play next when they host Pike Road for a 6A Area 3 bout on Tuesday, April 18. Park Crossing will confront a Patriots squad coming off a 11-3 non-league loss to Enterprise (Enterprise, AL). The Patriots record now stands at 20-13.
